Table Runner
Het plan was om voor zowel de eettafel als de rechthoekige salontafel in de tuin een gehaakte loper te maken die over een gekleurd tafelkleed gelegd zou worden. Midden in het productieproces ging de lounge set ter ziele. En laat de nieuwe tuinset nu ronde salontafels hebben..... gelukkig is de eettafel nog steeds rechthoekig. Maar ach, met hobbies moet je nooit haast hebben en dus ook enthousiast aan de slag met het haken van twee ronde kleedjes van 110 cm doorsnede die inmiddels klaar zijn. Gewoon voor de lol er ook nog een andere variant bijgehaakt van 102 cm doorsnede voor op een vaak in de tuin gebruikt bijzettafeltje. Alle drie zijn nu klaar.
Hieronder een aantal van de kleedjes die samen de loper zullen vormen. De totale verzameling kan gevonden worden op de pagina 'Naaldkunst / Haken'.
First you start with different doilies and then fill up corners and sides to get to a rectangular table runner which gets stored as a papyrus-roll.
Sexy Lady
Our neighbors (Rinus and Christa) have kindly provided two mannequins they found at the back of one of the stores in the factory outlet close by. These mannequins are going to be transformed into garden decorations: one as Sexy Lady and one as Grimmy the Witch. The Sexy Lady will be seated in the garden as soon as she has been dressed in sufficient 'lingerie'.
A number of my (biggest) projects, are illustrated in detail on the following pages. I always work on a multitude of projects as I want to be able to choose depending on my mood, time available and creative juices as creativity should not be forced.
